Black Bear Falls is built on the wide mouth of the scenic Dudley Falls and Creek and located directly on the Parkway in beautiful Gatlinburg. The trolley literally stops in front of this Vacation destination... So, park that car and avoid the hustle and bustle. Just enjoy your well-deserved vacation. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance. The trolley will take you to all of the local attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, including Dollywood, or take your own drive through the spectacular Smoky Mountain National Park.
The main cabin of Black Bear Falls features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, a pool table and an amazing hot tub to kick back and relax in. Just to the front of the main cabin is a detached In-law suite perfect for bringing the grandparent on vacation with you.
Arrive at the cabin and find ample flat paved parking between the two cabins. Entering the main cabin, you'll be greeted with the game room featuring a pool table, with sliding glass doors that overlooks the hot tub and the scenic Smoky Mountain National Park. Plus, a private full bathroom with a brand new jacuzzi tub/shower combo. Multiple outside decks enhance the viewing of the beautiful crystal-clear rushing water below, and a six-person hot tub is perfect for nights of enjoyment and relaxation.
Head into the dining room and find a large dining table situated to seat 6 for all the family meals. Open to the dining room is the recently remodeled fully equipped kitchen with all stainless-steel appliances and ample space to prepare all your home cooked meals. The living room is tastefully furnished with top grade leather sofas that are arranged around a large wood-burning fireplace. A 42" TV is a focal point for viewing by all which is guaranteed to give you that home away from home vacation experience.
The bedrooms contain top-grade mattresses that were purchased to ensure you the most restful night of sleep possible. Sleeping quarters include a King Size bed which has its own access to one of the decks leading down to the yard to enjoy the outdoor firepit. The two additional bedrooms contain Queen Sized beds. The shared hall bath features double vanities and a brand-new tiled tub shower combo, There's a private washer and dryer for your use too.
Headed over to the In-Law suite, the family members staying here will enjoy their own mini cabin with a “Studio” style layout. Featuring a King-Sized bed, a large flat screen TV, a Dining table for 2 plus your own kitchenette with a full-size fridge, a microwave and hot plate for your cooking needs. There is also a private bathroom with a custom tiled shower/tub combo.
Gather the family to the creek while the grill master works his magic on the charcoal grill in the side yard.
Black Bear Falls is a special picturesque place for all seasons. The beautiful and private rushing water is just steps outside your door. Spring explodes in lush foliage, with Mountain Laurel and Rhododendron filling the landscaping, the summer invites you to wade into the cold mountain water, the young at heart can catch fish or chase crawdads: in the fall, autumn paints the terrain in red, copper, bronze and gold. Finally in the winter snow blankets it with layers of fluffy sugar white snow creating a view that can only be called breathtaking. Your private vacation retreat joins the boundary of the Great Smoky Mountains, ensuring you both privacy and the unmatched beauty of the Mountains. Turkey, deer, and our famous black bears roam the massive boundaries of the National Park, all of which you view while seated on your private back deck.

The cabin was very cute, wasn't prepared for how close we were to a few businesses but it was a short commute to all that we wanted to do while we were in Gatlinburg. Would definitely use them again.
